Dr. Higgins Neyland was intensively trained in DBT by the Behavioral Tech/Linehan Institute in November 2016. Dr. Higgins Neyland uses a collaborative approach to identify the function of patients' problematic behavior(s) and works with her patients to develop coping skills that are more in line with their values. In this way, her patients are able to build a life worth living. She sets concrete goals at the outset of therapy and uses these goals to track progress with her patients.
