About Jessica Kirchhoefer

Dr. Jessica Kirchhoefer is a psychologist who is trained and enjoys working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain, postpartum anxiety/depression, relationship concerns, career counseling, fertility concerns, ADHD, PTSD/Trauma, OCD, and life transitions. She especially works with mid-career adults, college students, and adolescents in their challenges. Her goal is to help you to make active choices, and to have a happier, healthier, more empowered and satisfying life.  

Dr. Kirchhoefer works actively and collaboratively with her clients and utilizes reached supported and evidence-based practices. Her goal is to create a warm, therapeutic relationship to ground therapeutic interventions. She integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based treatments. 

Dr. Kirchhoefer earned a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the APA-accredited program at Brigham Young University. She completed her internship in health service psychology at The Catholic University of America Counseling Center. She participated in research that has been both nationally and internationally presented and published in areas of multiculturalism, group therapy, outcome measures, and external impacts on mental health. She has received extensive training in two college counseling centers, three private practices, a psychiatric outpatient clinic, a biofeedback center, and two psychological assessment centers.
