Dr. Neha Pancholi Patel is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the states of Virginia and Maryland who has experience in providing individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents and adults. Dr. Patel has worked in a variety of settings, including public school systems, private practices, psychiatric hospitals, and a group home. Dr. Patel focused primarily on eating disorders, but also specializes in the following co-morbid domains: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, self-esteem challenges, self-injury, suicidal ideation, and adolescent behavioral issues. Dr. Patel is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and utilizes evidence based treatment approaches with her clients.
Dr. Patel received her B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. She also received her M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Washington D.C. She has worked at the following sites:

- Columbia Counseling Center- Private Practice, Columbia, M.D.
Dr. Patel is most passionate about developing and implementing client focused eating disorder solutions centering on empathy and individualization. Dr. Patel takes great care in developing a treatment approach and plan that meets her client’s individualized needs and most importantly collaborates with all clients to ensure they gain insight into their recovery and progress.
