Annyck is a Registered Dietitian with an expertise in the treatment of eating disorders in both private and academic medical center settings. After completing a Bachelors in nutrition and dietetics, Annyck received her Masters in dietetics at McGill University. Prior to moving to the United States, Annyck worked on an inpatient and outpatient pediatric unit at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute, a renowned psychiatric hospital in Canada. She has received specialty training in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Based Treatment (FBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which she uses in her nutrition interventions.
Annyck applies principles of Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating in order to assist clients in developing positive relationships with food and their bodies. Her goal is to address emotional and physical vulnerabilities that maintain ineffective relationships with food. Annyck will assist clients in becoming mindful of how physical, social and emotional aspects of eating can affect food choices and self-confidence. Annyck is bilingual in French and English.
