Telehealth
Dr. Ted Worm is a licensed clinical psychologist known for his deeply thoughtful, engaging, and direct approach to therapy. While he creates a remarkably warm and collaborative environment, he is not afraid to gently challenge his clients—helping them break out of stagnant patterns, confront unhelpful behaviors, and achieve meaningful growth. Utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dr. Worm helps clients build mindfulness skills and align their daily actions with their deepest goals and values.
Men’s Mental Health & Relational Dynamics
While Dr. Worm provides exceptional, tailored care to adults of all genders, he has naturally become a highly sought-after specialist for men seeking therapy. He provides a constructive, straightforward space to explore emotional expression, relationship dynamics, and career stressors. He expertly helps clients dismantle unhelpful societal expectations, navigate life transitions, and build stronger, more authentic connections with their partners and themselves.
LGBTQ+ & Multicultural Identity Work
Dr. Worm is deeply passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community and individuals from racial and ethnic minority backgrounds. He understands that navigating intersecting identities within complex family, societal, and organizational systems can be profoundly exhausting. He provides an affirming, culturally responsive space to process minority stress, explore identity (including gender, sexuality, race, and ethnicity), and cultivate profound self-acceptance.
OCD, Anxiety & Eating Disorders
Dr. Worm provides expert, evidence-based care for individuals managing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), severe anxiety, and the full spectrum of eating disorders. By expertly integrating ACT and CBT, he helps clients unhook from intrusive thoughts, navigate the intense discomfort of challenging rigid rules around food, and build a more flexible, present-focused life free from body image distress.
Academic Coaching & Career Navigation
Drawing on his extensive background in high-level university counseling centers, Dr. Worm also offers brief, solution-focused treatments. He provides academic coaching to help clients manage test anxiety and ADHD/learning differences, as well as targeted career counseling to improve workplace dynamics and professional fulfillment.
