About us
We are a team of compassionate clinical psychologists and dietitians who serve clients across the country via telehealth and in-person in Washington, DC, Arlington, VA, and Bethesda, MD. We are dedicated to integrating science in our work with clients. Learn more about our missions, values, and team below.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower individuals to overcome life’s challenges to more consistently live a meaningful life that aligns with their values. Through compassionate, evidence-based care, our goal is to have our clients become aware of their inner experiences (thoughts, feelings, emotions, physical sensations), how they’re automatically responding to these stimuli, and ultimately make an active choice about how they’d like to react in a way that honors their values in who they’d like to be and how they’d like to be living life.
Our Values
We are always implementing science and research in the methods we use to help our clients.
First and foremost we want to create a space that feels safe for you to share the most vulnerable parts of yourself without fearing judgment from our clinicians. We want to create a space full of empathy, compassion, understanding, and respect.
We understand that your experience in life is unique given your own individual history, family life, your identity, and culture. Our treatments will not be textbook. We’ll be applying evidence-based approaches in a way that is tailored to fit individual needs.
We believe it takes two to make gains in therapy. While we will be ready to provide you with interventions, we want you to be honest with us about what is working and what isn’t. We want to be collaborative and work together to achieve your goals.
It is of upmost importance that we provide care in a way that adheres to our ethics code.
Evidence Based Practice
Evidence-based practice (EBP) is at the heart of our mental health services, empowering our team of skilled psychiatrists and therapists to provide care that is grounded in the latest research and proven methods. By integrating clinical expertise with the best available evidence, we tailor our therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. Our commitment to EBP ensures that our interventions are not only effective but also rooted in compassion and understanding, offering a pathway to lasting mental well-being and recovery.
Our Team
